Who am I ?

Ryan Yann born in Cambodia in the late 50’s,  as Arun   endured numerous atrocities under rule of Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge before moving to the U.S.

I will never forget that my path was paved by my parents, grandparents and generations of Khmer Krom  whose names I will never know. Their struggles, their courage, and their progress allowed me to strive and achieve. My story would only be possible in America, and it is incumbent on all of us to pay this inheritance forward.

About me

Farmer,  Nursing Professional, Entrepreneur,Social service  and variety of unspecific works.  Born in the late 50’s in Battambang, Cambodia.  A survivor of the Cambodian holocaust. Ryan Yann  survived only by hiding and settled in a new place that fact since all educated persons and professionals were killed under the Khmer Rouge. After the regime collapsed in 1979,  Ryan Yann escaped to Thailand where he worked as a nurse in a refugee camp before relocating to the United States in 1984.

In my mind, I have taught myself that love is weak. Tears are weakness. That the world can see me with a smile on my face and a glare in my eyes. Angry or happy, that was the only face I want to share. and for my whole life, I think I did pretty well maintaining that miserable way of life. I would like to think that I am the type of man who is excited for change. Life, it is a funny thing as we like to have a plan for life, even if we think it’s spontaneous.

All my life, I have identified myself as two things: an quiet guy who makes people comfortable and with a smile. Helping people to achieve their goals or dreams. I know first thing is true, seeing that I have been in that position since I was 12. Maybe I make myself smile more that other people, but maybe I do make some people smile with my help.

The thing would have been to talk to friend to explain what happened and why I was down. And, dear reader, you can probably guess that I didn’t do that. You would be right. Instead, I embarrassed beyond belief, shut my mouth and didn’t say a word. I never mention it unless asked. In fact, most people know what happened to me.

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”(John 8:32). The quote above is my core belief in the word of God that I follow.

My Unique strengths
I utilize the following personal strengths

I have ability to sort through clutter chaos and find the best path and I am able to   solve problems and find solutions.

I set things started and made things happened. I believe action speak louder than words because I am ready for action before most people, I need to consciously focus on potential while helping others prepare for action in a way that work best for them. I maximize other’s personal strengths with excellence as the measure if a task is worth doing, it’s worth doing right. If I decide to do something, I do it with maximum effort.

I love learning and continually seek new knowledge and skills, especially in alignment with my other theme of strength. I am, therefore, a keeper of knowledge, trivia or things that are not immediate important, but rather a keeper of the process of finding the information when I need it.

I believe that things happen for a reason because we are all connected. I was able to build meaningful relationships.

I  naturally enjoy being in a position where I can impact the lives of others in a positive way, and impact the value of individuals by directing and coaching the efforts of others. I also enjoy and excel at understanding and directing process which lead to a maximization of positive results. It is important to make a difference means affecting other people’s lives in a significant, meaningful way.

Unique ability
“Get Everything My heart Desires”, including my best ten habits

1) I always stick to my believe and value. 2) I always believe myself and have confidence that my actions are well-intended. 3) I always work to improve myself. 4)I always strive to achieve the highest quality in my work. 5) I always make people feel comfortable. 6) I always surround myself with people who are smarter than I am. 7) I always help to develop people’s passion by providing encouragement, love and praise. 8) I always see the end result and think it through to a plausible solution. 9) I always learn by trying. 10) I always choose my commitments carefully and then follow through

My success personal strategic foundation are:

1- Vision ( direction) 2- Mission ( Purpose) 3)-Value (Ethnic)

Health: I am healthy and fit and I feel great about my appearance. I maintain my weight, fitness, and appearance by exercising at least twice a week, including walking.

Personal Belief: My spirituality and belief in GOD keeps me grounded.  I love to help people who are less fortunate. I also love to help to make a difference means affecting other people to success in their goals.

I believed that my vision proved that Jesus lived in heaven, that Jesus was the Messiah and God’s Son, and that he would soon return. Moreover, I thought that the purpose of this revelation was my own appointment to preach among the non believers.  The Hebrew prophets, he wrote, had predicted that in “days to come” God would restore his people and that the non believers  would then turn to worship the one true God.

I, like other Christians, was a monotheist who believed that the God was the only true God. But I also believed that the universe had multiple levels and was filled with spiritual beings. Universe included regions below the earth (Philippians 2:10; “the third heaven” or “Paradise” (2 Corinthians 12:1–4); and beings he called, angels principalities, rulers, powers, and demons (Romans 8:38; 1 Corinthians 15:24). I also recognized the leader of the forces of evil, whom I called both “Satan” (1 Corinthians 5:5; 7:5) and “the god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Relationship: I have a trusting, intimate and loving relationship and daily express my appreciation of my family in a way they understands. I have strong and close relationship with children and always express my love and acceptance of them no matter what their behavior. I also have good relationship with large member of people who is a willingness to blend one’s vision with someone else’s rather than on a single vision of things should be.

Recreation: I have balance life. I spend time renewing and rejuvenating myself through regular exercise, time spent with family and friends frequently.

Community: I give of my time to my community supporting the needs of disadvantage people.

Career/Business: I am business minded. I am focus, doing the things I need to do get where I want to go in life. People see me as energetic, dedicated and strong business, caring and compassionate about our cause, and fair and open minded in dealing with people.

Financial: I have an abundance of financial support . I am positive and confident about my future,  As I follow Napoleon Hill who said, ” What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve and receive “.

Defining this mission statement is to:  Live successfully to fulfill my dream as retired person.   Live with integrity and to make a difference in the lives of others.

In the past, I made a mistake which I have paid the price for it. However, I pride myself on being reliable and accountable for results. I am committed to excellence and decisiveness in my performance for all that I am responsible. I am concerned for and committed to the service of others, those who are less fortunate, I love to help people who benefit from my help. I live with integrity at all times. I am honest with everyone and trusting them. I have a deep faith in GOD and practice my spirituality through my belief. I am a man of my word, honest, sincere and caring of others, despite my critics.

Nothing can Substitute my Experience!

Yes, I have taken risks and gained

Love life

Imagine I have a priceless moment is when the person that have fallen in love with, looks you right in the eyes to tells you that they have fallen in love with you.

Fallen in love was never in my plan. Until one day in the evening I just realized that I love this person too much. And one very early morning, about three o’clock, I was driving my car just as fast as I could. I thought, ” Why I am driving out on the highway this time of the night?”. I was miserable, and it all come to me ” I am falling in love with a person I have no right to fall in love with. I can’t fall in love with this girl, but it’s just a sudden feeling. At last, falling love just one side making us hurt the most.

Thoughts for a quiet night

The bright beams shine across my coverlet,

Reminding me of frost covering the ground.

I gaze up at the bright moon, then bow my head,

And suddenly think of home. Li Bai

The saga of Arun's persecutions

Immediately, All federal agents surrounded me with all eyes were on me with gun point. They  ordered to get out of a car with hands up in the air. They  grabbed me and my face was smashed against the cool cement side walk. The federal agents were pinning me down and cuffed my hand behind my back. Then they pushed me onto their car and transported to Federal Court of Western Washington district in Seattle.  I have lived a version of American dream, a refugee from Cambodia who has ambition, hard work and rose to the one of moderated successful entrepreneur, then in the blink of an eye, in my dream turned into a disaster.
